The second full-length album from Terra Engine, this album is a powerful expansion of the themes initially explored in "Power Ambience" (released through Amduscias Records -- http://www.archive.org/details/AMR112). Featuring the almost overwhelming electro-drone now known as 'power ambience', the music also ventures deep into the realm of experimental industrial soundscapes, harrowing dark ambient passages, menacing bass pulsations and avant-garde electronica.
Khvarenah is a Zoroastrian concept denoting "glory" or "splendor, but also refers to divine mystical forces as well as the will to persevere and continue forward. The music contained within the album is an exploration of this and other Zoroastrian concepts. This release explores the Zoroastrian mythos, in that Egyptian, Greek, Odinistic, and other such legends have been used far too often in musical, artistic, and conceptual works, whereas the Zoroastrian ideologies/concepts are, by the scarce nature of the actual adherents of the religion (less than 2,000,000 worldwide) not as well known outside the worshipers of the religion.
